- Environmentally Friendly – The QT series of generators are gaseous fueled, so they have no diesel storage, spillage or odor issues. Emissions are significantly less than their diesel-fueled counterparts.
- Quiet – All QT models are housed in a Generac-designed, sound attenuated enclosure. Even the cooling fans and radiators are engineered to produce less noise. Generac’s proprietary Quiet-Test feature (for which the series is named) keeps the unit about as quiet as a car idle during its weekly self-testing period.
- Affordable – Surprisingly attainable even to businesses that previously viewed back-up power generation as too expensive, the QT series was engineered to achieve maximum value at minimum expense.
- Scalable – Using Generac MPS technology, multiple small units are combined in the MQT 100 and 150kW units. Without the expensive paralleling, the MQT units provide higher outputs at much lower cost than one would encounter with a traditional, single engine natural gas generator solution.
